A 14 year old was in a tractor with his dad. Leaned against the front window and it fell out and so did the boy. The dad couldn't get the machine stopped in time. Very tragic.

We have a septic, and I was just thinking of trying the powder soap since I can't get our laundry to smell good.

I use Photoshop Elements also. You can use that for a Mac or PC (my friend uses Mac and it isn't really any different than mine). What I like best about it, is you can pull it out, work on it for a short period and finish it at another time - without having to get everything out and clean everything up. I would only paper scrap when I knew I had a lot of time since it took more time to get everything ready. I would also recommend Scrapper's Guide if you use photoshop or photoshop elements. She has a beginner cd with lessons on it for beginners. It is a great help!! The other thing that is so nice about digi scrapping is there are a lot of freebies available so when money is tight you can still find something you need for a layout. Here is a great site for freebies, http://digifree.blogspot.com/ The pages are very realistic looking when you print them out. I was apprehensive of switching so I did one simple page and printed it. I saw it and was hooked. Go for it! It's a lot of fun~

stoneware loaf pans that work great, but are much more cost efficient than the PC ones. I think they are about $8.

I heard it will keep track of your weight, etc. Does is actually weigh you? If you put your statistics in can other wii players see them or are they confidential? Just wondering how it all works. Thanks!

I am glad that this is the norm. I just thought I would feel this way sooner since I ate nothing but junk! I hope it goes away soon though. I have been trying to drink a lot to flush it out of my system. The joint pain is a lot better this afternoon but the fatigue has set in. It took a lot of effort to go outside and turn the water off. I am also really tired, but have had major trouble falling asleep the last 3 days. I must have totally shocked my body by finally eating something healthy!! :lol: I am amazed that I have succeeded into day 5. Please keep encouraging me. I have a lot more than 100#'s to lose. I finally got fed up with not being able to do the fun stuff with my family and decided to get healthy. I will need the encouragement to continue on - I usually give up after week three. I am basically trying to just eat healthy food, and not eat eating processed stuff. If I feel the need to eat something I eat it, but make a healthy choice. Somehow pigging out on fruits and veggies isn't as enticing as the junk food so my portions are smaller too. I basically figured if God made it (and man didn't have to do much to it) than it should be healthy. I am trying to remember to pray also, when I am wanting that which I shouldn't have!:D Thanks again for your help and encouragement!!

I have been off of white sugar and trying to eat healthy for 5 days now. Last night my joints and bones really ached and I had trouble sleeping and woke up achey, would that be from my body de-toxing? I kind of feel "spaced-out" also. Just wondering if this is normal. I was hoping to feel better by eating right. I have a major amount of weight to lose. Any thought or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

My 22 yo son is remodeling his house and doesn't have a kitchen. He was looking at the Ikea ones online and we were wondering about quality, etc. Does anyone have these and would like to give me their opinion on them? Or has anyone looked at them at the store and could comment on them. I would really appreciate it. The store is several hours away and we don't want to check them out if we know that they are junk ahead of time. THanks for the help~!

for his cousin before we were married. I never got any though. :glare: they were really cute. Pink polka dot on one side and blue polka dot on the other. My hubby is not the crafty type, but a hunter/fisherman rugged type, so it took everyone by surprise when he did it. I wish I could of had them.

PTL she is found and okay. She is 16 and a group of 4 of them went horse back riding. Her and a friend got separated from the other two. They thought they knew how to get back but were going the opposite way (deeper into the woods) instead of towards home. After being lost for awhile and it getting darker, they said that they came across a bicyclist who told them they were going the wrong way and how to get back. They said he appeared out of nowhere, told them where to go and then disappeared without making a sound. They believe he was an angel sent from the Lord since they had been praying for help. They said that he gave them goosebumps. I am really proud of how prepared my daughter was. She had glowsticks and flashing lights to attach to the horses, a blanket, matches, several knives etc. I had no idea that she carried all that with her. She said that they weren't too scared, that they prayed and sang praise songs a lot, and joked about finding grubs to eat if they had to spend the night. I wasn't worried either! Only because I didn't know they were lost, until after they were found! I would have probably been a basket case. Just thought I would share their story with everyone!

One day he said he didn't think he heard the way others did. We had him tested and they said he had a major hearing loss and were surprised that he could talk as well as he does. The hearing aids he needed were going to cost between $4000-5000. We didn't have the money, so I prayed about it. I felt God wanted me to take him to a naturopath. We did and found out that he is allergic to whole wheat. We removed it from his diet and redid the test three weeks later and it came back in the normal range. The ear doctor was amazed! He said he hadn't seen anything like it before. God is good.

I don't know why I couldn't find it before.

I thought after last night there would be a lot of talk. Do you think everyone on the island ends up dying or do you think that they will actually move the island? Do you thin the Sun's husband is actually dead? Before we were thinking that he was still on the island, but he left the island with her and didn't make it back.

Reading Frontier's mom's post about in laws being hit by a drunk made me want to post about what happened in our town today. My hubby is a landscaper and the garbage man who he knows told him to watch out for several infant/toddlers that were on the loose. I guess their parents got totally drunk last night (they supposedly have a lot of children) and lost the small children. They thought the kids had wandered off but weren't sure when or how. The garbage man found one early this morning but one was still lost when my dh told me about in the late am. Those folks should make me furious!!!:angry::mad::angry:

that is so maddening when people don't consider what their actions might do to someone else. I hope they were insured, and that there won't be any medical problems show up.

My daughter's goat has finally kidded. She has slept in the barn the last 8 nights waiting for it. It was a single and a buck, but he is strong and healthy. She is thrilled. He is absolutely gorgeous (for a goat)! She has pictures of him on her blog He also needs a name. So, if if you have any suggestions....

My friend has a black and a stripey cat. Their names are Cinder and Ella. (cinderella). I thought that was so clever when they named them.

I missed last nights (it is taped though). Did James get injured? He is one of my favorites.

Kate was supposedly doing Sawyer a favor (in the future) but they stated that he was still on the island. Do they have a way to be in contact with those left behind on the island?

So, if he doesn't have a scar in the future, what would they be insinuating about that?

I figured there would already be a thread going strong after last nights show. Did anyone notice that when it showed Jack in the future he didn't have an appy scar? We had it recorded and I rewound it to those topless scenes and I couldn't see a scar on him. I wonder if that is why they had those scenes, so we would notice that. Hmmmm... Also, it seems that Jack might now know that Aaron is his nephew. Did anyone else get that impression? Do you think that Claire's disappearance is why Kate has Aaron? What else did you think of last nights show?

I can't imagine what my daughter will be like when she is pregnant. She has two goats due. She has been checking them every hour and has slept in the barn the last 5 nights, just in case something happens. I hope you have already had your new little one by the time you check in! If not I hope it is a quick and easy delivery!
