She also makes clothes etc. She wants to buy a very good quality machine that will last her for many many years. She is willing to spend up to $1000AU She currently has a Bernina that is an ex highschool machine, and is about 40 years old
  2. Also the people living in the towers will be paid an allowance because they cannot go to work and I believe food will be brought in. They are public housing towers, very low income people. As the premier said. The most vunerable

  4. In those public housing towers there are 23 that were positive today. They share lifts. I just listened to the speech by the premier. There are other people in the tower that they are absolutely certain that have it who were tested today.if people in those towers refuse to be tested then the whole towers will have to stay locked down for longer.

  6. Up until a few days ago testing in quarantine was optional. Unbelievable I know
  7. There is also a man in Darwin who tested positive. He spent 14 days in quarantine in Melbourne spent 3 days with friends before flying to Darwin.
  8. There is also genome tracing happening here
  9. In one school it was another child, another school it just said a close contact at school. There has been a small cluster at a secondary school over the last week
  10. That is also the reason that no flights are coming into Melbourne, because they don't have security guards atm while the investigation is happening. The people who are still in hotel quarantine are now been guarded with corrections offices from prisons. There is a retired judge appointed by gov of Vic to see what the laws the security guards breached
  11. A few of them were children that were in contact with a known case in primary school Also the northern suburbs of Melbourne outbreak has been traced back directly to the security guards at the hotel lockdown. Apparently the security guards were having sex with the people with quarantine, they caught coronavirus then took it home to their families. Then it spread, resulting in 30 suburbs having to go into complete strict lockdown.
  12. A few of them were children that were in contact with a known case in primary school
  13. only 1 of the new cases in Vic was from an overseas traveler, the rest were community spread
  14. Also no flights allowed into Melbourne at all for 2 weeks.
  15. 64 new cases in Vic today. 10 suburbs of Melbourne are going into very strict full lockdown. Not to leave house except absolutely essentials for 4 weeks Made a mistake I think. 30 suburbs, 10 postcode areas. It has just been announced and I am not clear on the fine details
  16. I have some vague memory that the person found out after they woke up that they had done the "carpet removal" while on Ambien
  17. Long wait because of the mass testing happening this week in Melbourne. They are now flying some of the tests to other state labs with military planes Apparently it was a 24 hour until results just a week ago.
  18. Of the 75 new cases 14 are linked to other cases, 37 are people presenting with symptoms to testing sights, 1 a returned traveller in quarantine and 23 from unknown. Nearly all of them are from the 10 suburbs in Melbourne that have had an increase in the last few days Twin 1 and I had our test this morning. Will find out results on Friday. Twin 1 no longer has a fever. We are to stay in isolation until Friday when we get our results
  19. gold dipped thread scissors shaped like a bird . I got all my bio kids some for their sewing boxes when they were younger . they absolutely loved them and they all still have them
  20. According to the premier of vic, several people got coronavirus from sharing a cigarette lighter, some from car pooling, and lots of family spread
  21. There is evidence here in Vic of a primary school student spreading it to teachers at school. In the last week a few primary and secondary schos have had to close. The one secondary school had multiple cases so all staff, students and parents of students got tested on Friday. Secondary school here goes from year 7 to year 12
