  1. Yes, I am talking about Bright Ideas Press Illuminations:) It is expensive! But I was wondering if it's worth the price tag. Does it add enough to MOH to make it worthwhile?
  2. I am curious about it. If you use it or have used it in the past, what are you likes, dislikes, etc?
  3. Hmmm, things I recommend... Definately MFW, Teaching Textbooks, R&S English, and LLATL. Those are my favs, but I also recommend curriculum based on the needs of the family. I also think MOH, Apologia, and Artistic Pursuits are great!
  4. Thanks so much ladies! I do love them both. It's so hard to choose. Another idea I had was to use MFW 4 year cycle and then MOH, possibly with Biblioplan for the next 4 years. Then I could have the best of both worlds:)
  5. What kind of results have you had? How long have you used it and how often do you use it? Which workout do you do? Basic workout plus or step away the inches? TIA
  6. I would love to hear from anyone who has used one or more of these programs. What are the pros and cons? We currently use MFW and I love it for the most part. The simplicity of MOH and the 3 day week and integration of other books in BP appeal to me. I love how much bible is intertwined in MFW and I don't want to compromise that. If you have switched from MFW, do you feel there is enough bible in the other programs? If not what other bible study resources do you add to them? TIA
  7. Thanks so much! I see it on the schedule sample now. It must have just been added to the updated version.
  8. We've used SonLight for the last 2 years. Next year, I'm thinking about using Biblioplan since they use living books PLUS incorporate some worksheets and sources like Diana Waring CDs. (LOVE THAT!:001_smile:) -------- Sweet Home Alabama, I'm not sure if I understand you correctly. Does BP incorporate DW CDs or were you going to add them? If they schedule them can you tell me what time periods and how they schedule them. TIA!
  9. I changed the title to hopefully get a response. Pretty please:) I know there are lots of Biblioplan users out there.
  10. Can anyone tell me how DW Cds are used in Biblioplan?
  11. I saw in another thread that Biblioplan schedules these. I did not see it in the samples or on the booklists. How is it used and in what time periods? Also, is it in the hs supplement or the main guide? TIA
  12. I am not that far in the cycle yet. But we have used K, Adv, ECC, and CTG. I already have RTR for next year. We LOVE it! The IG is great, keeps me on track. I love all the bible we are reading and memorizing. If there is too much memorization for you, you could just read the verses every day. That's how my dc memorize it. There are a lot of books to skip around in, but I'm used to that now. Each one adds so much and I love that they are all scheduled out for me and we actually read ALL those books:0) It is very easy to tweak. We don't do all the music. Sometimes we do music and art at different times than what it says in the IG. Another reason I stick with MFW is that we are all learning together. That is very important to our family. I think the academics are solid in MFW. I am learning a TON of things that I never learned in ps! Just pray and see where the Lord leads you:0)
  13. so, if you let your child eat "real" pizza after trying to be gf for several months and she was emotional and irritable the next day or so (worse than normal for a slightly hormonal teenager), COULD gluten be the culprit? ______________ Yes! That is totally how I react! I go gf for quite awhile, then I cheat because I know it's not gonna "kill" me and I have a very hard time controlling my emotions and my pms is so much worse:0( It could totally affect her emotions.
