My mom puts salt on her apples if she has sliced them. Not sure about rest of family.  Me, nope.

Peanut butter on pancakes.  Not sure about others but YUM I like them that way. I think my uncle started me on that.

  3. Walking through walmart and I hear this younger couple.  They have a cart with groceries and a little one about 1.5 -2 in the cart seat.  I hear them arguing over the cost of something.  Then the F word.

Walmart and prices can have that affect of people.

  7. Snapshots standing in the same place each year, shows bow much they have grown.

When they were younger also took pictures of them with their books or maybe doing first page in a new book.  Stopped doing that somewhere along the way.

School until close to noon then go out for lunch.  Most years dh has been able to go with us.

Next day we start full force.

  8. I would complain too.  You are right 75c isn't going to break someone but it is the principle of the matter.  If they do this to everyone and no one complains that is a lot of money at the end of the day.

I have been finding more and more differences on my receipts lately all in the stores favor.

  9. I had an idea after last Christmas but didn't follow thru.  I was going to start buying gift cards every week or 2.    Like buy a $20 Walmart gift card or a $10 fast food gift card & put them up.  Then closer to Christmas I could use the gift cards to buy presents. (or groceries if I didn't need a gift from there).  The fast food cards could be gifts to nieces & nephews etc.

  10. I can't line dry outside when the pollen is high but love to otherwise.  My poor traditional clothesline has met with some issues (a huge tree limb took out a couple lines, boys and an accident with the pole has left the pole bent).  My small line (single pole with square top & lots of lines) is really old and breaking but I still keep using both . Trying to see about getting a new small line and somehow fixing the bent pole.  Once the bent pole is fixed I can add more lines again.  I only have 1 now.

I have 3 of the folding racks that I use inside most all the time.  Because of the lack of space on my clotheslines I have been drying towels but I love scratchy towels.

Sometimes I put the shirts on hangers then hang them upside down on the clothes lines (pin at the bottom of the shirt),  Then when I send ds out to get stuff of the line the shirts are already on hangers.  Easy to put away quickly.

  11. Use all leftovers -- sometimes as they were cooked or make something "new" with them

Plan meals around what you have or is on sale

Keep lights off unless need them

Air dry clothes--line or one of those folding drying racks

    Stay out of stores

Take drink & snacks if you leave the house
