  1. Mine this week is the suggested Paganism: An Introduction to Earth Based Religions. Very eye opening and I am really liking it. :thumbup1:
  2. We use the same recipe as Meriweather. :001_smile:
  3. Sending cyber hugs from our family to yours. :grouphug::grouphug:
  4. What about that Alaska Gold Rush one? I can't stand it. :ack2: Nothing like fake drama, trashing the Earth, nasty smart mouths, super rude, whiney high pitched men's voices to drive you nuts. Sickening. What a waste of time, effort, and film! I hope to goodness they do not find anything in the way of gold, so that one falls by the wayside after this year. I can't take the old man's voice alone.
  5. My next book was This Time of Darkness, it was good, quick, and I am finished. I also added in there- Eminent Dogs, Dangerous Men by D. McCaig. I enjoyed it very much. Next up is The Thirteenth Tale that was mentioned here.
  6. :D:D:iagree: A while back, a new friend of DH asked him, "so... just what kind of woman would be married to you?? I can't wait to meet her."
  7. My book was The Good Earth, my first time reading it. Powerful and gripping, one of my new favs.
  8. Well we have a Willliam and I love it. I also love Liam, and would not equate the two.
  9. I had to laugh at covering the flowers, the shrubbery is buried here! :glare:
  10. The sleet is getting started here, it is pelting the windows. Right now they are saying 1/2 inch to inch of frozen ice to be covered by blizzard. The dogs are all bedded down, buckets and jugs of water stacked, percolating coffee pot ready, laundry almost done. Here we go!!!!
  11. No offense here. :) Very interesting thread. Audrey, I for one, have done a good deal of thinking due to some of your posts. I find them very thought inspiring. Any other reading you ladies recommend?
  12. They must be impressed by what they see. :001_smile: (No typical kids here either!) :D
  13. Ok, yes I guess that would make sense. I wasn't taking it to mean that direction, I was taking it as meaning materialistic in the general sense.
  14. Love it! :D Thanks for my smile for the day Rosie!
  15. REally? This is not what my impression would be. They seem to be focused on a natural life and harmony with the earth, rather than material goods? Maybe I am off base, but I was thinking the opposite of this.
