@gardenmom5, I’m sorry. I hope this season brings a thaw to the hard feelings. why the hell is it anyone’s business if pronouns are causing a problem. Gardenmom didn’t mention that and frankly that’s just out of left field and sounds like a couple of posters trying to start something, yet again.

Im horrible to complain so much. I have so much to be grateful for and I am. I just want one Christmas where the entire month of December is like on big advent where I read my Bible, do Bible things, worship Him, quietly usher him in on the 25th. I think next year that is going to be what I do. I’ll do Thanksgiving, but Christmas is just me, dh, and Him. Unless of course, ds and gf wants to join. This rushing around, spending gobs of money; trying to please each set of parents is draining me and my joy. I really don’t complain like this too much and I’ll plaster a genuine smile on my face especially when my boy gets here. I really do like these people; even my in-laws, lol. My parents and in-laws love each other so much, I should count my blessings instead of counting down the hours. And now I’ve taken meds so no wine, liquor for me. Oh well. My dh is a blessing and cleaned and did poop patrol this morning. We’ll have five dogs underfoot today.

Our Christmas is today. My back is killing me. I hate the holidays. You have my permission, actually I’m begging any of y’all, if I ever say I’m hosting Thanksgiving and Christmas in the same year again, yell at me, speak gently, say whatever the hell you want to say. I am so stupid and I can’t believe I’m going this. I’m miserable, I hate everybody, and my food is going to suck.

Because of this thread, I bought some and am eating two a day now. I can’t imagine eating much more than that at a time. They’re huge!

Cleaned kitchen did some self care decided I’m going to throw the chicken in the crockpot early Sunday morning for the chicken part of the taco bar. It’s just going to make my life a little easier than trying to grill it all.

Took a nap, but ds texted and woke me up, which is fine. He was feeling upset about the wallet and needed to talk. Weirdly, my mom texted before him, probably an hour, and I think I looked at the phone and completely disregarded it. Something about your kid trying to get ahold of you and your senses go on high alert, I guess. Anyway, mother wanted to send me photos of my cousin’s daughter’s new apartment. It’s a lone pic of her sink and dishwasher. 🤣🙄 I won’t ever tell my mother this, but those type of (constant) texts drive me batty. I just don’t give a damn, you know? fixed a quick supper.

Ds is talking with the cops now. The person who stole it just used it an hour ago. They used it multiple times now. Of course, as of a few minutes ago, it’s canceled.

Good morning! ds’ wallet got stolen overnight from his unlocked car (where’s the headbanging emoji???) and I’ve been on the phone with discover canceling the card. The person tried to cashapp themselves from our discover card (ds has a credit card of ours) and thankfully, discover had already declined it. Ds was going to his first endocrinology appt at a new office this morning, so he had to call and reschedule that since he has no license, insurance card, nothing to pay the copay with. My shoulder and neck are tightened up now, so I guess a migraine will come on later from all this. Say a prayer for him. I know he’s about to lose it. At least he goes in to work in a minute so it’ll take his mind off it and he can talk to an older guy at work who’s like a mentor to him. I need to take out the meats today for the taco bar on Sunday to thaw. clean up around the house laundry supper? Maybe sandwiches and soup?

We didn’t go look at lights tonight in the golf cart. We’ll go tomorrow night when it’s just a bit warmer. I’m a weenie with cold weather, lol. We tried to take a nap but the dogs were being crazy-town and then our neighbor came over and brought us a sopapilla cheesecake. That was a welcome interruption! Dh can’t stop grazing on it. now we’re watching some gold hunting show on Netflix and I’m hoping to get to bed earlier tonight with meds for my neck.
