  8. Hell no (sorry) it's a freaking dump and my mom still lives there (though she's supposed to be getting something new soon). Besides she lives on an island that is nothing but a drama infested rumor mill with few good paying jobs and everything is at least a ferry boat ride and hour drive away.
  9. I'm a home health aid. The job I have works around dh's work schedule so I don't have to pay for child care. I got the job to help pay for my school stuff, not sure if I will keep the job once school starts though.

  16. Hmmm not much here just gas and groceries... Next few weeks we won't be so lucky, we have dd1's green and gold banquet for GS next Saturday (making pasta salad and already bought all the ingredients), dd1 had her flower sale for school a couple weeks ago so I will need to go get those flowers and deliver a bunch to my Aunt who lives a couple hours away, and we are going to Georgia for a few days for nephew's graduation. In June we have another graduation and a few weddings.

  19. WIC does have a higher income limit (we qualify for WIC but not foodstamps and we just barely make over income for Medicaid for the girls). I like Michigan's WIC system much better than Georgia (though it may have changed in the last 5 yrs). In Michigan we have cards so that we don't have to get everything at once (if you need milk you can just get milk and not worry about "wasting" a voucher). In Georgia they had the vouchers where there was multiple items on one and if you didn't get all the items then you forfeited them. Though Michigan WIC cards look like the food stamp cards so you get groans sometimes but at Walmart there is no need to separate (at the smaller stores you need to). I hate when WIC decides to change something and doesn't tell the users about it. There have been times when I've grabbed something that was previously covered by WIC and get to check out only to discover it's no longer covered.

  21. I have a job interview tomorrow at 12:15 as a home health aid (I all ready told them that I'm a nursing student and my schedule will change after August 22nd)!!! 🤓
  22. Good morning - get dd2 and I dressed- done - get oil changed in car- done - get some groceries- done - tidy house - maybe start kitchen deep clean - get dd1 off bus- done - dinner- meat pulled to thaw - baths - bedtime routine - anything else I get done
