Pink and Green Mom Posted January 17, 2018 Share Posted January 17, 2018 (edited) Good morning! -coffee -run dishwasher -cut up the pineapple that has been sitting on my counter for a really long time -DS16 off to school and school baseball conditioning -a few subjects with DS13 before we leave for co-op -co-op (10-2) -run to Costco for meat while waiting at co-op -tons of phone calls for appointments: dog groomer, eye doctor, orthodontist -read/jigsaw puzzle/relax -dinner (Whole30 buffalo chicken and spaghetti squash casserole) -laundry (?) (One of my kids is super picky and won't wear most of her clothes. :/) Got the kids off to school - not happy, one of them lost her spelling book and is afraid for her life. :P Took out the garbage. Washed some dishes. Checked social media, emails. Might sneak a nap. Have lots of work to do. Should do a little reading and exercise. Kids to math tutor. Kid to gymnastics. Kids' other work. Light snow here, shoveled/scraped driveway, roads ok. Maple-soy marinated salmon for dinner, cooked on a sheet pan with Brussels sprouts. Sweet potato crisps/chips/slices -- not sure know what to call them, as they never turn out quite as crisp as They should. But delicious anyway. May make crab puffs as an appetizer because I have puff pastry thawed in refrigerator. She slept for nearly a whole day, and hopefully staved off whatever cold was threatening. I have mostly a home day, with a grocery run and regular practices later. Dh took my computer (he needs to get a personal one), so I have to adjust a few things. To do: Dd2 to school (done) Boys up and working A few bills Laundry Clean kitchen Other daily/weekly chores Grocery store Jen things/ maybe bake Pick up dd2/practice/aikido Home Dinner by ds3! ScoutTN Posted January 17, 2018 Share Posted January 17, 2018 Very cold here, for TN. -4 with the wind chill. My street is 1" of ice. The main roads are fine, but we can't get there. Hoping dh can get out to the grocery this afternoon, when/if the sun comes out. My milk farmer can't get into town, church is cancelled and we are punting today's piano lessons. Basic school - short day. Tidy up and do some cleaning. Not sure what else the day will hold. Hopefully not much. MomtoCandJ Posted January 17, 2018 Share Posted January 17, 2018 Ugh I was eating a cherry gummy heart and lost part of a tooth (I have genetically bad teeth and still have some baby teeth) I really need to make a dentist appointment tomorrow morning to get it taken care of. Selkie Posted January 17, 2018 Share Posted January 17, 2018 2 loads of laundry done. I'm out of empty laundry baskets so I guess that means I need to actually put some clean laundry away. Kitchen is clean for the second time today. School is in progress. Dd is upset because she is behind in some of her classes (again). Sigh. She is a perfectionist and I have to continually remind her not to nitpick over every single detail, just get the work turned in! Cat and horse got their medicine and both were surprisingly cooperative (the horse was only cooperative because he got a handful of treats). Working in the kitchen now.
