I've had a Peugeot pepper mill for decades, still working as new. I think this was Julia Child suggested in Mastering the Art of French Cooking.

I have the microplane that looks like a file. I like the shape because I can grate the lemon on it OR hold the lemon and move the grater back and forth -- my preferred way, because I can see when I am getting too close to white part of rind. Iirc, I spent about $15 on it. I didn't get it from WS, but it looks like this.

I have this pepper mill, and I like it.  It's very easy to use, and it has a little cap underneath so it isn't always sprinkling the counter with pepper bits.  It's not super sexy for the table, but I use it in the kitchen; we don't usually serve pepper at the table.  https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B003L0OOQM/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
