Liz CA
Took off time from work today. I never do this but I spent a good portion of last night at work with an ice pack pressed to my back and my back flat against the wall. Arrgghh. I've been to the chiro on Wednesday so this should not happen - at least not in an ideal world. Tomorrow: Ice back a little more. Gentle exercises and foam rolling Clean up a little but be careful. :( Go to work and hope it will be fine
LisaKinVA
I took the weekend "off." Spent time with DH, which he greatly appreciated. Didn't do a lick of real work (okay, a little cooking, organization), but not nearly what would normally be planned. Today: Laundry School Planning (week/month) Speech/Pick up test scores Prepare for Wednesday swim practice/meetings Home -- the great salad prep (cut up salad makings for the week) Dinner, clean kitchen Bed

Grantmom
I need to organize a closet today to make room for some things. I have a room that is so cluttered and disorganized and I can't stand it anymore. I am trying to decide how to store the holiday decorations and things that only come out once a year (Christmas stockings, Easter baskets, etc.). Right now, I have them in plastic bins, but I feel like they take up more space in the closet that way. I don't have a basement, attic, or garage, or anyplace where I could stack these plastic bins neatly along a wall or anything like that. I feel like if I took the stuff out of the bins and just put it on the shelves, that it would take up less space. The closet has open shelves, but they don't seem to get dusty, I think because there are no vents in there. I don't know if the things would get dusty sitting out on open shelves in there or not, since I wouldn't be touching them for a year. I like being able to just take it out of the plastic bins and use it right away. However, I hate having all this plastic around. Any ideas or thoughts for me?

Jean in Newcastle
Grantmom, I'm one of the last people to ask about organizing. If there are a lot of loose things I would want them in a box - even if that box were made of something other than plastic. Things like Easter baskets would be stored out of a box unless it needed to be boxed for stackability reasons.
