maize
I'm trying to motivate myself to speak French more often to my kids, but I need something to keep me thinking in French. What are good resources for watching and especially listening in French? Podcasts, online radio, audio books? TIA!
8filltheheart
My dd listens to French CDs. A very high percentage of DVDs also have French dubbing. I go to the library and look at the back covers before we check them out. She started off watching movies she was familiar with in English and now prefers to watch movies that she knows nothing about.
Stef03
We use a VPN to watch French TV channel replays. We currently use hola.org (it's free) and watch cartoon replays mainly on tf1.fr
yvonne
TV5Monde has a 30 minute, weekly podcast/streaming/whatever it's called recapping the week's headlines. My boys watched it for a French class last year. I think I'm going to pick a segment to watch during lunch this coming year.
Loesje22000
Dd watches: http://www.arte.tv/guide/fr/emissions/JUN/arte-junior/?vid=057056-026_PLUS7-F But maybe that's too easy?
madteaparty
News in slow has a podcast. I found an audiobook on audible and was able to buy the paper book used on amazon. DS listens and reads along.
Monica_in_Switzerland
My kids love the program "C'est pas sorcier" which has lots of episodes on youtube. It's a well-done kids educational program. We also really like Bain Pop Francais.
