Book A Week in 2009 * Week 16 *

Recommended Posts

Good morning! It is the start of another book week. We are on Week 16 of our quest to read 52 books in 52 weeks. It is time to start book # 17. (If you haven't already.) :)

To recap the rules:

  1. Read an average of a book a week - 52 books in 52 weeks
  2. Re-reading a book counts--as long as you first read it before 2009
  3. School related books don't count (unless you want them to.

You may post your reviews, thoughts, reactions to the books you've read here or on the 52 Books in 52 Weeks Blog. You can actually join in anytime.

*********************************************

If you are on book # 17 then you are 1/3 of the way there for reading 52 books for this year.

My next book up is an E-Book I've been putting off. The author specifically asked me if I would be willing to read and review it, so going to start reading it. Will be reading French Bred by Frederic Guarino. What are you reading this week?

Well, I changed my mind about reading the e book again. I just don't have time to sit at my computer and read a 400 page book. I'll probably print it out and read it that way.

So, right now I'm reading an Advanced Reader Copy of Stone's Fall by Iain Pears.

What are you all reading this weekend?

Can I jump in? I have wanted to do this for a while. I probably average a book a week anyway, but I keep thinking I would love to keep track. Can I jump in even though I don't have my first 16 weeks listed?

Here are books I've recently finished:

16. The Writers Journey (This was AWESOME!)

15. The Middle Place

14. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (re-read)

13. Twilight (didn't like it - what's the big thrill?)

12. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (re-read for book club)

11. - 1. ?

I'm currently reading "The Household Guide to Dying" which is okay, but I'm not thrilled with it.
