fj62
Sharon, What are the necessary materials for Wheelocks? My ds has done Latina Christina I and II, but didn't score real high on the practice Latin tests. I'm thinking of doing Wheelocks with him, but it seems intimidatiing. Any tips? Congrats to you and dd!

Sharon in SC
Sharon,What are the necessary materials for Wheelocks? My ds has done Latina Christina I and II, but didn't score real high on the practice Latin tests. I'm thinking of doing Wheelocks with him, but it seems intimidatiing. Any tips? Congrats to you and dd! We have had the blessing of a dear Godly man in our area who tutors area homeschool students in Latin and Russian. He is the one who chose Wheelock's but that is all that he uses. (However, there are some online tools that I think would be very helpful. Dd just never needed to tap into them so I can't say for sure how helpful they are: http://web.uvic.ca/hrd/latin/wheelock/ ) I appreciate everyone's readiness to congratulate me as well as dd but, in this particular instance, all I can take credit for is instilling in her good study habits and transporting her to and from class. ;-) Blessings, Sharon
