Quiver0f10
That I was excited and relieved co-op classes were cancelled today? After 2 crazy weeks, it's going to feel great to have a free afternoon! :D
LisaKinVA
Nope... I feel the same way sometimes (like praying for a really big snow/ice to happen tomorrow so that both the debate tournament and the store events can be cancelled) It's been a very hectic week. Blue Hen
That I was excited and relieved co-op classes were cancelled today? After 2 crazy weeks, it's going to feel great to have a free afternoon! :D And when you always feel like that then you drop-out of co-ops completely which is what we did. Ahhhh, the freedom!!! Mom2jnb
Well, if it makes you a bad homeschool mom then I think it would make me a bad homeschool mom. :p I feel the same way when ours is cancelled and I have already vowed we won't be doing another co-op for a good long time. Lux Et Veritas Academy
I would have celebrated! Somedays I wish we could cancel the week:)
Beth in Central TX
Well, Jean, at least you sign up your kids for co-op. I don't even do co-op classes for my boys. I tried one class with my oldest a year or so ago, but even scaled back, it still made our Fridays rushed and hectic at times. I think we do more co-op classes in high school, but right now, I like being at home.
Quiver0f10
LOL. I do like our co-op and the kids love going! It just feels good to have a freebie day. Dh comes home tomororw after 2 weeks away ( he was home 2 days in between ).
Staci in MO
It's sleeting here. I don't mind the free time, I just hope the power doesn't go out. I'd rather do our outside activities and have electricity, than stay home with no electricity. :D
GreenKitty
No, have fun! Your just ready for a break:)
Tracey in TX
LOL I've rejoiced when the last THREE outdoor soccer games were cancelled! Hopefully, today's game will be played. Can't fathom the make-up schedule! An unexpected free day is a serendipity of life :)
OnTheBrink
No, I rejoice when music or sewing class are sometimes canceled. I like the classes, but the driving all over the place it sometimes too much.
Jackie in AR
That I was excited and relieved co-op classes were cancelled today? After 2 crazy weeks, it's going to feel great to have a free afternoon! :D No, it makes you a normal homeschooling mom. ;) We all have times when we're glad the pace slows a little. Glad you're going to have a free afternoon!
mcconnellboys
No, but having found myself in the same situation several times this year, including today, I'm thinking that maybe we need more of these reminders to slow down and just do nothing.... Enjoy your day/evening, Regena
