DawnM
My frustration is high. I am not interested in hearing how dumb I am for not being able to find something. Edited May 27, 2023 by DawnM
bolt.
Wow! How can they know whether or not you "need it right now"? -- Are there files and data on their side of things, or do you just tell them whether your inquiry is for now or later? In any case, that's cagey as heck. Way to broadcast that they have something to hide!
Jean in Newcastle
I’m confused because I can google aca insurance costs and I get sites where I put in my zip code and then it shows some quotes from a couple of aca compliant insurers. Am I missing something?
Lori D.
This article appears to have some figures for 2023 ACA prices.
Pawz4me
I'm pretty sure you can go to the Marketplace website and fill out the application as if you're applying and see the prices. You just wouldn't submit it, of course.
freesia
We found all that info on healthcare.gov. It looks like NC uses the federal exchange. You should be able to put in your state and income and get lots of choices.

Pawz4me
I don’t think you can get ballpark pricing. Too much depends on how much (if any) subsidy you qualify for, your age, what plans are available in your zip code, what level plan you want, etc. I think the only way is to go to the website, do the application and see what’s available to you. That’s exactly what we did when we started looking for insurance for me.

Pawz4me
Some states have their own marketplace websites. Others (like NC) use the federal site. That may affect how easily or not one can get quotes.
