What color graduation gown?

There is a homeschool graduation ceremony that we are planning to attend and you can wear whatever color cap and gown you want. We are kind of stuck on what color to get. We belong to a co-op that has used black and orange for colors. So, we thought about getting a black gown with orange tassel. We've alos thought about going a bit wilder with an orange cap and gown. My daughter also likes light blue. I figure that's about as good a reason as any to pick a color. Ravenclaw colors? I feel like blue and silver might be nicer for photographs than orange or light blue. The college she's planning to attend has purple as one of their colors as does the community college she currently attends. And she likes purple. I don't know! Help me make the important educational decisions here, people!

I'd go black with colored tassel. Maybe you can reuse the gown for college grad?

I let mine pick their own color- so far green and purple 💜

I just pulled up the pics on homeschooldiploma.com and had dd choose one...she picked navy and we added an orange tassel.

My kids each picked their own. None of them matched, which I rather liked. 🙂
