ProudGrandma
I asked on the special needs board, but didn't get any responses, so I thought I would try here. I hope that is ok. This is my question: I want to buy a few gel filled sensory items from a good company, but I am on a limited budget. I am hoping that you guys might know of a company who I can count on to buy good products for a reasonable price. Thanks.
MercyA
Fun and Function has good customer service. We bought some Thinking Putty there once and one of the plastic toys inside the putty broke quickly. They gave me a full refund even though it really wasn't their fault. Here are some gel items that they carry: https://funandfunction.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=gel
Arcadia
The cold/hot packs that I have are gel filled if you need a stop gap. My kids use them as fidgets sometimes.
KSera
Schylling has a line of fidgets called NeeDoh that are available on Amazon and come in a variety of shapes and textures inside (from soft gel to firmer gel to doughy to crunchy). I think they would be best for someone who is able to not be rough with them. We haven’t had any break, but I know some reviewers have and I can see the potential—not heavy duty. happi duck
We bought our NeeDoh at Target. Dh has a hand injury and squishes one all day long. His first didn't start leaking until five? months of use.
Hilltopmom
All of them my students and own kids have had, whether they were dollar store or fancy ones from an OT catalogue, all break really easily and quickly. Haven’t tried the Nee do ones yet but Dd wants the cat one. They’re so pricey for a short lived toy though.
