maize
Dd18 auditioned Saturday for a musical theatre BFA program. I've heard that students are advised to send a thank you email after college interviews. Is the same recommended after an audition?

kokotg
My son always sends them. I think it's almost never a bad idea to send a thank you note. 1

GailV
My understanding in regards to the people running the auditions is that they appreciate a thank you note. It's really a very old fashioned industry. Sources: Person running the auditions of dd's BFA program; people running Broadway Artist Alliance summer intensives (each week ends with auditions, and kids are directed to send a note to each auditor -- notes were to include a small copy of their headshot) You never know when and where you're going to run into these people years from now. 2
