Alicia64
My parents are elderly and they don't want more "stuff." But they love food because it doesn't hang around gathering dust. Can you recommend a food subscription that I could give them for Christmas? TIA!! Edited September 20, 2021 by Alicia64
Selkie
If they are veggie lovers, produce boxes from The Chef's Garden are gorgeous and so much better than anything you can buy in a grocery store: https://www.chefs-garden.com Tropical Fruit Box is another one that we get regularly: https://tropicalfruitbox.com
Jean in Newcastle
There are so many, it would help to narrow it down. Do they like a certain kind of diet? (Vegetarian, Ethnic Food, All American Diet. . . ) Do they like to cook? Hate it? (Some are more fussy than others. . . )
Jean in Newcastle
I just realized that food subscription doesn't necessarily mean a meal preparation subscription. Sorry, about that.
Bambam
I got my two (who live together, one in college, one works for college) a MunckPak subscription. They really enjoy it - different snacks every month. There are several (I didn't get the smallest box nor the biggest box). It's about $23/month, but it is something they look forward to trying new foods to reading about the snacks. Some of them have been hits, some have not. They also share with friends on their weekly game night. They did ask I pause it October-December as there are always plenty of goodies around then. So I'll start it up back again in January. Sorry, about that. But you nailed it: fussy and don't cook. In fairness my mom has Alzheimers. So it's all falling on my dad.
bibiche
My nephew received this subscription and really enjoyed it. I don’t know if you can customize it, but I imagine you can. He likes it because he gets to try foods from countries that he might not otherwise have access to. https://yummybazaar.com/products/shoguntempcb34240d

This isn’t a subscription but I have an older relative who sends it to their older friends and supposedly it is always well received. https://www.spoonfulofcomfort.com/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI-Yayx5-O8wIVF4TICh26YgEsEAAYAiAAEgKfi_D_BwE 1
