Jenny in Florida
Sundays are light days for me, with nothing beyond walking and PT on the agenda. Walked 2.75 miles for the Year of the Ox this morning, then did my PT exercises. Will walk again sometime this afternoon/evening to make sure I get my steps in for the day and will credit that mileage towards the challenge, too.
Melissa Louise
The heat defeated me yesterday, so I didn't even get my mat out. This morning I did - 17 min yoga flow. Better than nothing! Was supposed to walk with a friend as well, but we had to cancel due to heat. Trying to be kind to myself about the whole heat thing/less movement.
purpleowl
@Melissa Louise, with high temps and no air conditioning, I do not blame you one tiny bit! Is there a break from the heat in sight? I walked 2.2 miles. I plan to do some trampoline stuff later as well.

Suburbs only a half hour drive from me are beginning to be spoken of as uninhabitable during parts of summer - pushing up to 50C on the worst days, with street temps even higher, so long term, our city has major heat problems. Short term, only 48 hrs to go before a break! And no bushfire smoke. Counting these blessings.

Wow...that doesn't seem doable or liveable long term without a lot of artificial cooling or underground buildings or something. (and I like the heat!) ktgrok
I went for a mile walk at a nature area today with the family, did 30 minutes of PT, and then went easy on myself as I was physically and mentally beat and it was already almost 10pm, and did the 18 minute "Bed Flex" DDPY workout as my yoga for the day.

sbgrace
Tough day/tough week-end. I'm so tense. I went on a walk with my parents and son this afternoon. I did a relaxing pilates this evening before I head to bed. Hopefully tomorrow is brighter. --- I'm sorry about your heat ((Melissa Louise)). I'm glad you're being gentle with yourself.
