ScoutTN
@mom2scouts @Margaret in CO or any other BSA peeps I am trying to link my Scoutbook acct to my son's. It requires his membership number. Where do I find that?
Loowit
If he has a membership card, it would be on there. Otherwise, you could ask the unit (pack, troop, etc.) or council office to look it up for you. 1
Soror
I'm not sure when I needed dd's I had to call the district office. The way we generally do it with Scoutbook is send email requests to parents to link accounts, parents don't generall do that on their own. As a leader I can also link it if someone is already in the system.
ScoutTN
Ok, it probably can't be done today. No clue if Ds has a card, and it's inaccessible in our house right now anyway. BSA local office doesn't pick up the phone. Just automated answer, no people. I hate that. AC and all other leadership are at work and probably cannot answer personal email until evening. Sherry in OH
If he or you can access his Scoutbook account directly, his BSA number can be found in the profile section.

I think only the AC, SM or ASM can do that so far. I'd need his number to get in.

Good to know. He's not a type A overachiever sort. Still very much in early teen hormone fog! He's not yet 1st Class. He has 14 nights, including a 5 night stretch at camp.
ScoutTN
Got the # from the AC. He should be 2nd Class before camp. He does NOT want parent help with Scout things, so I figured giving him a printout of where he stands will help him to make sure all is correct with the AC and in his book. And help him to see what he needs to work on next. Trying to help without being directive!
