Carrie12345
Does anyone have a Ruggable rug? Love it? Hate it? I’m tempted but nervous!
itsheresomewhere
Same here. I swear the commercials are on more lately and it keeps peaking my interest.
sgo95
I don't have one but was seriously considering a purchase. However, I watched a review on youtube that pointed out that the edges and corners of the rug can curl up (not lay flat)--I think it's because the top layer is thin. Here's a written review with pictures: https://oakabode.com/ruggable-review-pros-cons/. I knew that would always bug me so I ended up getting a regular rug. Thank you for sharing that one, especially because she also had an update from Ruggable. Apparently, they’re working on a solution to the curling? Well, that would 100% get me to buy it. Several, actually. Except I have no idea what to do in the meantime now, lol. We’re putting down LVP, and I’ve lived with carpeted living rooms for my entire life, minus 2 years. And we didn’t have money to think about things like rugs back then! I don’t’ really want a completely naked floor, but I also don’t want something difficult to clean... which is why I’m overjoyed about getting rid of the carpet!!! The extent of curling that she showed is definitely too much for us. My youngest two kids still run around like wild animals, and I’m a giant klutz. MercyA
I am all about machine-washable rugs! I'd never heard of these! I do love my machine-washable rugs from Hook and Loom: https://hookandloom.com/browse/flatweave-eco-cotton-rugs/. They are a great company--excellent customer service and environmentally friendly. Yes, I’ve seen a few people talk about them curling after being washed. I follow one lady on IG and hers was never the same after the first wash.
