Katy
I don't know anyone with POTS except for those here, but I saw this article and thought some of you might be interested: https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2019/09/190909081756.htm 3

Ann.without.an.e
ok so this is what the cardiologist thinks *might* be dd's problem. We shrugged it off but maybe we need to think on it more. It is so vague.
LarlaB
Thanks for sharing! Im waiting on cardiologist appointment for official POTS dx...he is presumably one of the few known to dx and treat POTS in my area. thankfully ?!?!? I have a moderately severe case that had sudden onset following head injury so it “should” be textbook easy to diagnose as my HR jumps 40-50 beats just by standing and I have all kinds of accompanying symptoms. So many people struggle for years to get diagnosed and so this is huge! Standardized screening instead of subjective and unpleasant specialist testing is always a huge win!!!! So I never connected these things before. DD had a concussion/head injury in 8th grade and has had increasing problems since. What are your POTS symptoms? Lady Florida.
Thanks for sharing. Ds has a friend who has POTS. She and her service dog stayed with us to ride out Dorian though we didn't get anything besides a little wind and rain. I learned quite a bit about POTS while she was here. I'll pass the news to ds so he can tell her if she hasn't heard already.
