I'm wondering how early to get there so that we can be in line to actually eat there since they don't take reservations or a waiting list? They are only opened until 3pm. Thanks! My friend said on a weekday they get there by 730 and have only had to wait a few minutes at most. They are older people so they always go early. They haven’t done lunch there because every time they’ve gone past it looks crazy busy. If you go please post about it! They were still renovating the last time I was in Waco and I’d love to hear about it. *If you are there during an event, like Silobration or a Baylor event, like a football game day, it’s going to be crazy busy ALL the time. My folks went and, according to them, there wasn't much of a wait until closer till 9, but that was on a Tuesday I think. I believe it is worse as you get closer to the weekend. Enjoy. gstharr Posted August 24, 2018 Share Posted August 24, 2018 I've never been to Waco. I don't imagine going there. But, read the Yelp reviews, and saw the menu. Pretty mixed. So, what the heck is the attraction. Here in the Los Angeles area it is Tennessee hot chicken. Kids stand in line 3 hours for it. I tried once, but did not get it. We have been to Paula Deen's in Savannah and Walburgers in Boston. We always went during the week and odd times for meals to get in quicker. I think we waited 30 mins for Paula Deen's.
