cave canem
Has anyone found the magic bullet for the hassle of bedmaking the upper bunk? I have seen fitted sheets with an zippable top sleeping surface, a pseudo-flat sheet attached to the fitted on two sides, and a fitted comforter. These all have advantages and drawbacks. Does anyone have a favorite specialty linen for the top bunk sleeper who likes to change sheets often?
Angie in VA
How about just a flat fitted sheet and a duvet? You could swap out a thin duvet for a thick one when the seasons warranted. There was a thread here about using two twin duvets on a king sized bed (which is the size of 2 twin beds IIRC) and this link was shared. You won't need two, of course, but the custom of no flat sheet might make things easier. https://witandwhistle.com/2014/08/07/two-duvets-one-bed/ Edited July 12, 2018 by Angie in VA I typed flat but meant fitted! Amira
For me, it’s easier to get a fitted sheet on the mattress on the top bunk than a flat sheet and it stays put better, so I like to use a fitted sheet and a duvet.
stormy weather
We all just use a bottom fitted sheet and duvets with washable covers. Even the non bunk sleepers.?
Ottakee
Mine just used a fitted sheet and lightweight fleece blankets or a sleeping bag on top
Carrie12345
Fitted and duvet. Ds gets the far back corner and then I get the other 3. For frequent changes, maybe just put multiple on at once, then strip for a fresh one.
