easy linens for the top bunk?

Has anyone found the magic bullet for the hassle of bedmaking the upper bunk?

I have seen fitted sheets with an zippable top sleeping surface, a pseudo-flat sheet attached to the fitted on two sides, and a fitted comforter.  These all have advantages and drawbacks.

Does anyone have a favorite specialty linen for the top bunk sleeper who likes to change sheets often?

How about just a flat fitted sheet and a duvet? You could swap out a thin duvet for a thick one when the seasons warranted. There was a thread here about using two twin duvets on a king sized bed (which is the size of 2 twin beds IIRC) and this link was shared. You won't need two, of course, but the custom of no flat sheet might make things easier.

I typed flat but meant fitted!
