Reefgazer
...Is there any way to disable the icon/notification that you are currently on Facebook? Is there any way to disable the notification that tells your friends how long ago you were on Facebook?
ILiveInFlipFlops
There's a notification that can tell you how long ago your friends were on FB?!
Arctic Bunny
Yes, it would be nice to disable it, but I've never found out how, if it *is* possible!
Janie Grace
You mean the one that shows up in Messenger? Or is there another one?
Arctic Bunny
If I'm on my phone, in Facebook, not Messenger, if I swipe right I can see when everyone was on last, or if they're on right now.
Arctic Bunny
But yes, that does lead to Messenger
ILiveInFlipFlops
I just realized that when I turn off Chat, I can then see times for each person on there. That kinda ticks me off! And I used to be able to turn Chat off permanently, but now it turns back on every time I go into FB :glare:
Robin M
You can get Facebook purity for free - http://www.fbpurity.com/ then you'll be able to change any settings you want. You can be invisible, you can hide the side menus including the who is on line, etc. You'll need to play with a bit but works great!

I am one of those people who really wants to not use FB but I do anyway. I think there are other ways to stay in touch with people but it seems like not. Thanks!
Homeschoolmomto2boys
If you use Chrome, download the "Chrome Unseen" feature (you can google it) and check all the appropriate boxes. It works!
