Runningmom80
These are definitely not full curricula but a fun supplement. DS is excited to do them and that's more than I can say for the rest of his curricula! We have US History https://www.amazon.com/Everything-Need-American-History-Notebook/dp/0761160833/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1486347421&sr=8-1&keywords=Big+fat+notebook+Us+history Math https://www.amazon.com/Everything-You-Need-Math-Notebook/dp/0761160965/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1486347470&sr=8-1&keywords=Big+fat+notebook+math They also have Science, World History & English which I'll probably get for next year. I didn't see a thread about these, sorry if this is a repeat!

I bought the World History and Science and I agree that they're a nice little resource, but I'm not sure how to actually use them. TIA.

Well they are meant as study guides, but we don't really do tests so I'm using them as supplements. So for US History, we are using living books and primary sources. The big fat book kind of ties it all together. The math book we are running through as a review before we start algebra.
mama25angels
We haven't done a lot of science so we're just reading the science book so he'll have some knowledge before we start HS science next year. We're using the math book in conjunction with our text and as extra practice before beginning algebra.
SEGway
I heard about these (from this thread) and noticed that all but the English one is down to $8.37 today. I don't know if this is normal. But, I got one. :)
ProudGrandma
I would also like to know more about how you would use these...are they just for middle school?
Wheres Toto
I picked up the English Language one and the Spanish one. Those are the two topics I feel like we've been light on this year and I wanted something simple and laid out. I'm going to have the kids read a chapter, then answer the questions in a notebook. The Science, I may dig up some videos or books on the topic or I may not. These aren't all we are doing. We also cover Grammar as we're writing, and we cover quite a bit of Science loosely between 4-H and just interest.
