HeWillSoar
If your kids use Duolingo, do they have their own accounts or do you have a teacher account? Is there any benefit to having the teacher account? I'm asking because it's been such a pain getting it set up.
Sarahtar
They have their own accounts. But I'm providing literally no supervision at all on their foreign language.
deerforest
Student account but I don't care about it at all. We have another complete Spanish program; she just does it for fun and her own satisfaction because she loves it.
Tanaqui
I have a teacher account so I can look at it every day and go "No, you did NOT do your Duolingo, go do it now". But with two kids it's just easier than logging in and out of their accounts. If I only had one, and wasn't using it myself, I wouldn't bother. SilverMoon
Mine have their own accounts. I'm their "friend" so I can watch if their progress moves or not.
shadah
I have a teacher account. The content is slightly edited and they compete against their friends who are also in my "school."
vaquitita
We just started, but I set up a club so me, my kids, and their friends are all in the club so they can compete against each other and I can keep tabs on if my kids have been doing it
mommysanders
Is there a way to set up separate accounts on the app? I'm on an ipad and I can't figure out how to get more than one user with one language. I'm pretty sure you can only have one account in the app. You would have to go in to setting and log out, then log back in as someone else. Hobbes
Is there a way to set up separate accounts on the app? I'm on an ipad and I can't figure out how to get more than one user with one language. I couldn't find a way to do that. Thankfully, my husband tends to acquire cheap, used iPads and so we have two... they just each sign in on a different iPad (both my husband and daughter use Duolingo). SilverMoon
I have four kids using the same app on Kindle and Samsung tablets. Maybe poke around more for the log out option?
