shawthorne44
Python Programming: A Free Self Help/How To eBook https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LWZS3NV Since I got a Kindle I've developed this compulsion to acquire free ebooks. I think I have this idea that the free ebooks won't be so easy to get in a few years. I found this one on freebooksy, and I thought of you guys.
SarahW
Thanks! I belong to a couple FB pages which feed me free kindle books, and I load up anything that looks good. Living in not-English no-good-library land, a huge cloud is a good security blanket. I'll check out freebooksy. :)

TrixieB
So it's free for Kindle unlimited subscribers - well that's not really free - certainly ok to post but please specify the conditions Right now Amazon shows "Kindle Price $0.00" I just purchased it and was not charged. Additionally, Amazon indicates the book may be borrowed for free by Kindle Unlimited subscribers.

SparklyUnicorn
It is confusing how they listed it as free for Kindle unlimited in the most prominent place, but if you look to the right of the screen it says kindle price zero and below kindle unlimited zero. So it really is zero. Thanks for the heads up.
shawthorne44
So it's free for Kindle unlimited subscribers - well that's not really free - certainly ok to post but please specify the conditions Oh, yes, I wouldn't have bothered to mentioned it if it wasn't free free. Note, these are usually only for one day. So no promises about tomorrow. That is annoying the way the free free books are still highlighted as Amazon Prime books. In my short experience anything free free is also Amazon Prime. Edited October 9, 2016 by shawthorne44

RootAnn
Kindle price now showing $2.99 for me, so might have been a one day thing indeed!

One reliable (I've found) group is F.R.E.S.H (free resources & ebooks for secular homeschoolers). I'm not exactly secular, but it works for me.
