bibiche Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 The Orlando Modern Quilt Guild is coordinating a quilt drive for the victims and victim's families of the Pulse shooting. Here is a link to info in case anyone wants to contribute a block or a quilt: https://themodernquiltguild.wordpress.com/2016/06/14/quiltsforpulse-charity-drive-with-the-orlando-mqg/ 5 Quote
Amira Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Thanks for posting this. I have a lot of Facebook friends that quilt so I shared it there. 1 Quote
redsquirrel Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 I don't quilt at all, but I LOVE quilters. I love it when they get together for something like this. I've seen a quilt made by strangers given to a person and it did bring some small comfort. With something like this, that is the best you can hope for. 1 Quote
Catalytic Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Shoot, I don't think I will be unpacked enough by the deadline, but I'll try! Quote
TheReader Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Thank you for posting this! I will definitely contribute. Quote
Caroline Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Thank you for posting this. I will be making a quilt. Quote
Guest Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 If I quilted, I would do this. I can knit a scarf or a hat. But quilt - I got nothing. I think it's a beautiful thing, though. 1 Quote
EmseB Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 I haven't been able to focus on sewing in a long time (I guess not since #4 came along), but this is a good excuse to buckle down and make something! 1 Quote
Annie G Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Thanks for posting this. I think my dd and my sisters and I are going to collaborate on a quilt. 1 Quote
