profmom
I'd love to have your recommendations for practicing fractions over the summer! My dd has finished Math in Focus 5A & B, but I want to help her solidify all operations with fractions over the summer.

....
Key to Fractions :) :iagree: We love those workbooks! My kids who used those are Fraction Superstars. :tongue_smilie:
Tiramisu
I bought a Math Mammoth fraction book for the same reason. DD just finished PM 4B. It 's fine but Key to Fractions appeals to me more.
Momto6inIN
We used Life of Fred for supplemental practice of fractions (and decimals and percents too). My kids thought it was a fun change and didn't object to doing more fractions after MM.
2ndGenHomeschooler
My DD is using LOF Fractions this summer to review from a different angle. I'm hoping to get to the Decimals and Percents book too.
profmom
Thanks, guys! After looking at each one and remembering what I've heard about each over the years, LOF won out! My girl has had it for 2 days and has done 3 lessons so far. She likes it! It's so completely different than what we use all year (Math in Focus) that it's a nice change. Thanks again for your help!
SharonUF
Cuisinare rods and the book Everything's Coming Up Fractions. I just did this as a co-op class, and it really helped my boys with fractions concepts.
madteaparty
I recommend the respective chapters from Math Mammoth
mamamoose
Dd is using math mammoth and it really solidified her fraction knowledge. It's not fun, just worksheets without any fluff, but straight forward and self teaching for the most part.
SKL
A little different - for my polar bear loving daughter: https://smile.amazon.com/Polar-Bear-Math-Learning-Fractions/dp/0312377495/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1466260177&sr=1-1&keywords=polar+bear+math It's more for someone who needs reinforcement or a younger student, but I thought I'd share in case anyone would find it interesting.
