Harriet Vane
What does this sentence mean? As he was handing people coffee he lined to his macbook mix Thanks!
KungFuPanda
Was "listened" the word that was supposed to be in place of "lined?" If so, I'd guess he was listening to a playlist while handing out coffee. Edited April 5, 2016 by KungFuPanda

Lolly
Yep. A new skill needed in today's autocorrect word...you have to think out of the box and ask yourself what the phone could have done. I am guessing that one or two of the keystrokes was missed when typing "listened". The phone may not have received the "s" and/or "t". (I know I have typed letters sometimes, but they just don't seem to get into the phone?" It was incorrectly corrected to be "lined".
Harriet Vane
Thanks for your replies. It's not an autocorrect problem. The words you see were intended that way. I think "lined" might be some form of teenspeak that I have never heard of.
vonfirmath
I was thinking "line danced" So danced down the line, handing out coffee.

kitten18
Well, I saw a definition for lined on urban dictionary, yikes, but it didn't fit this situation.
ktgrok
I'm guessing it means lines of verse, like rap?
Haiku
I think "lined" should have been "listened."
