Proudpapa77 Posted January 8, 2016 Share Posted January 8, 2016 Just curious as there has been a lot of discussion about the new PSAT, the scores, and how they relate to last year. If you have a child who took the 2014 PSAT and also the 2015 PSAT, did the selection index score go up, down, or stay the same? Again, referring to the selection index, not the total score. Joker Posted January 8, 2016 Share Posted January 8, 2016 (edited) Dd took it in 8th and 9th and her SI went up 2 points between those two years. This year in 10th, her SI went up 38 points. I thought I was reading things wrong because it seems like such a big jump but maybe the new test was more suited to her. MarkT Posted January 8, 2016 Share Posted January 8, 2016 did not see SI for 2014 score (9th grade) but 2015 scores were higher percentage wise scored 96 % Math 98% Verbal (I believe this is for 10th graders) We can work on that Math score.
