Who's going to tackle Monday with me?

I have to tackle this day but I am not sure how.  Oldest ds is leaving to go back to home in Boston.  This always leaves the younger kids kinda depressed.  He's everybody's favorite!  The house always seems dull after he goes.  I need to come up with a plan to alleviate that, but all I can think of is how we ought to be doing math and that youngest ds has a paper to write due right after New Years.

Need more coffee.

Good morning! The swim schedule drives our day. If you guys could send up prayers and good thoughts for our house inspection going on right now (!), I would appreciate it.

To do:

Drive to four different practices today

Start cleaning out and packing up the garage. Hopefully, it will be at least 20 today

Grocery store

Figure out dinner (pasta?)

Have a great day!

Best wishes, Jen! Such a nerve wracking time, I know.

As for my day:

--daily and Momday things

--walk to/from gym for training session

--plan meals for week

--email check-ins with my high school and elementary teams

--write the last bio test

--register dd for the SAT bio subject test (today's the deadline, oops)

--have dinner with ds and The Girlfriend :)

Almost shot myself with dh's insulin instead of my allergy antigen.  Good thing I looked down and read the label!  (I usually am more careful  but I'm sort of out of it after being up a good portion of the night.)  I wonder if I would have had to go to the ER or if I could have gotten away with eating a lot of carbs?  (I'm diabetic but not on insulin).

We drove from Barcelona to Madrid today.  I slept part of the way because I got zero sleep last night.

We took forever to find our hotel, but then we took a walk to go find some dinner.  It was a very nice walk, except for the fact that it started pouring on the way back.  :P  Now it is 3am and I am supposed to be working, but I can't really concentrate.  I'm supposed to get up, eat breakfast, and get on a bus tour by 10am, so if I'm going to get any sleep tonight I had better start.

Accomplished:

  • Packing and moving.
  • Kept my kids alive one more day.
  • Called the accountancy board, got my password, resolved a hitch in my credits, completed my registration.  I should be good for the next 3 years.
  • Took care of some work matters remotely.
  • Cleared and filed some emails and did a little work, but not much.
