foxbridgeacademy
Okay, i signed up and if it turns out to be as good as it looks I owe you my everlasting gratitude. I am so tired of searching Youtube/Netflix/Hulu/etc.... for Documentaries that are horrible quality or only have bits and pieces.

tammyw
This is super cool! Can anyone tell me how one would watch it on a tv? For example, on my bedroom tv, we have a roku that already has netflix and amazon loaded, so it's easy. I'm wondering how we could watch something like this?

deerforest
We have been using it for a few months. At first there wasn't a lot of content, but they continually add to it so it's been improving.

Guest CuriosityStream
Hi all, Thank you for your interest in CuriosityStream! If you haven't done so, you can start your 30-day free trial by signing up here: https://app.curiositystream.com/#/signup. Your first 30-days are free, and after the first month - plans start at $2.99 for standard definition and $5.99 for high definition. You can watch on your TV via Chromecast or Airplay (Apple TV). We currently don't offer native apps for smart TVs or Apple TV, but our Roku channel is currently in final stages of development - and we will be announcing its release. We have great shows coming this fall, starting with Mind Blowing Breakthroughs - highly entertaining look at the greatest discoveries in history. Watch a preview here: The CuriosityStream Team

Apple Bean Tripod School
This is super cool! Can anyone tell me how one would watch it on a tv? For example, on my bedroom tv, we have a roku that already has netflix and amazon loaded, so it's easy. I'm wondering how we could watch something like this? I think you would need a streaming device like Chromecast. Or maybe Curiosity Stream will come out with a Roku app. That would be awesome. I signed up for the free trial and I like the selection, but beware of appropriateness. I only wish there were some sort of rating system. The dramatized series about the fall of Rome had Nero engaging in orgies and forcibly castrating a slave/servant. I mean, we all know Nero was a nasty guy, but it seemed over the top to see it dramatized. Certainly won't be watching it with my 11 year old, and I am VERY liberal in what I allow her to watch :)
Renai
I'll be looking for it on Roku.

Guest CuriosityStream
Hi Apple Bean Tripod School, Thank you for the feeddback. We'll relate the need of having a rating system for our shows, so they can be enjoyed by the whole family without a problem. This August we will be premiering Quarx! and Mind Blowing Breakthroughs, two great series aimed at kids and teenagers. Best, The CuriosityStream Team I think you would need a streaming device like Chromecast. Or maybe Curiosity Stream will come out with a Roku app. That would be awesome.
