I found the perfect Mother's Day gift for Mama! (if you remember my post, lol)

I was going to get her the Pandora bracelet... but then I heard through the grapevine that since she's had so much time on her hands and isn't able to get as often, she's been teaching herself to cook, and she has been looking at inexpensive stand mixers. 

DH gave me the go ahead and we got her a Kitchen Aid (it's the brand we're familiar with, so we know the quality). 

I am so stinkin' excited. I wish I could give it to her in person. Of course this is one of the few things on the Macy's site that doesn't allow gift wrap, which bummed me out. 

 

I had to share. I have nobody else to tell about it (besides, y'all are the bestest!!!). I haven't been this excited about giving her a gift in a while (because so often the gift I give her seems just... blah and impersonal because she will NEVER tell me what she wants/needs).

That's super sweet. My KA was a gift from dh and my parents early on in our marriage. I love it because it's awesome, but also because it's from them. I bet she'll feel the same way.

What color did you get?  They come is so many colors, but alas, mine is just white.
