mellifera33
Last night I did some grocery shopping. As soon as I walked in the house baby started to fuss, so I asked my dh to bring in the groceries. He brought them in, but neglected to tell me that he was stashing everything on the kitchen floor instead of putting things in the fridge. So…would you eat half and half, or yogurt, that has been unrefrigerated for 12 hours?
JFSinIL
Probably not the half and half, but yogurt...how cold was the floor?
DawnM
Yes, as long as it smelled ok.
mellifera33
It was warmish. I smelled the cream and it smells okay….I'm putting it in my coffee. I can't handle the morning otherwise.
ThisIsTheDay
Probably. I wouldn't give it to tiny children or feed a group of friends. The half and half might sour more quickly but it was in a sealed container, so it should be good.
YaelAldrich
Yes, with the knowledge that they may go bad faster
Tammyla
I wouldn't let any children eat the yogurt. A grown up is a fine guinea pig, but kids are small. Btw...I'm fine with poisoning myself, but my kids no way.
justasque
Yes to both, especially the yogurt. I would use them promptly, though, just to be sure.
