MomtoCandJ
Dd2 is getting her first one tomorrow (she just turned 1). Both of my girls get their immunizations on schedule (except flu). The only ones I'm concerned about are the flu (since it's rather hit or miss) and Gardisil (I'm sure there will be more studies done with in the next 5 years when dd1 will be due for her's)
Xuzi
My city just got its first confirmed case today in a third grade girl. No word yet on where she caught it, but the mom is posting pictures of her daughter to make the community aware that "it's not just a rash." Her daughter is in aa lot of pain, and I didn't know that there's no treatment for the measles specifically. They can only treat the symptoms. The poor girl looks miserable. Farrar
That was a powerful article; so tragic and sad. People need to know! I hope it goes mainstream. It went quite viral over the last day or so online. I've seen it shared in a number of places. So it definitely has gone mainstream. A powerful testimony.
