Does anyone in your family use a balance board?

Does anyone in your family use a balance board? I just learned about these today, and think my dd would have a lot of fun with one, but I'm not sure if the novelty would wear off quickly. If anyone in your family has one, what can you tell me about it? Is it something they have continued to enjoy for a while? How hard is it to get the hang of? Do you have a certain one or brand you recommend? I've been looking at the ones made by Vewdo (https://www.vewdo.com), but am open to suggestions.

Thanks!

We have an ancient Bongo board Bongo_Board_with_sneaker.jpg

It's one of the only toys DH kept into adulthood, and still uses it occasionally. It's worn down enough now in the center that it makes it a bit harder-the groove doesn't always stay centered, so you have to balance front/back as well as side to side.  It's also been good for DD's sensory work.

I have played with them. They are super fun! We've put together makeshift ones for the kids. They like them, but ours have been so unstable as to be quite dangerous.

I ordered this one for Christmas. http://www.amazon.com/ALEX-Toys-Active-Monkey-Balance/dp/B000N40SDC I'm thinking it will be a good start, and then we'll add a wobble board as well.

They are GREAT for sensory therapy.
