I started making the kids do the investigation and if it literally took them 20 minutes or less, they then did a lesson that day also. AdventuresinHomeschooling Posted June 22, 2014 Share Posted June 22, 2014 I was comparing the 2nd edition of 5/4 to the third edition of 5/4 and the Investigations in the newer editions were lessons in the second edition. Critterfixer Posted June 22, 2014 Share Posted June 22, 2014 For what it is worth, investigation lessons were probably the best thing about Saxon 5/4 for my guys. We are actually changing curriculum this year, but everyone enjoyed days when we did investigations because the problems were part of the lesson, and there were no mixed problem sets for that day.
