I would love to see how much panelling would need to be done to, say, power a high school or shopping mall - parking lots, roofs, surrounding roads? I wonder how the cost to produce, install, and maintain would compare to the energy produced. Can you imagine trying to replace the roads in Manhattan? Ugh. Susan in TN Posted June 10, 2014 Share Posted June 10, 2014 While I love the idea of lit road lines and dashes (I have a hard time seeing them at night in the rain), I'm not sold on the LED look overall.
