athomeontheprairie
every so often I see people posting about the chicken mummy project. soon will be studying Egypt, and this will be something we do ( I have been waiting and waiting and waiting for this project!) I was under the impression that this was included with SOTW1, but I can't seem to find it. am I missing something? or do you all just pull instructions of the Internet? lastly any tips on this? and has anyone done it with an actual chicken ( not a store bought chicken breast)
Carrie75
I believe the instructions are in the SOTW1 workbook. I bet it's online though.

mom2bee
The Chicken Mummy Project is in the activity guide for vol 1 of Story of the World, pg. 17. There is a link to the project with pictures here. I have a crazy question: Can you eat a mummified chicken?

RootAnn
It is a lot easier to use a cornish game hen just because of size. We've done two of them. :-)
Farrar
I have a crazy question: Can you eat a mummified chicken? Oh heck no. It's completely rotted and then preserved. Seconding that Cornish game hens are easier. I've done both.
shage
There is a special homeschooling badge you get at the end of this project. Or at least there should be.
