The good news is we had a professional and competent ER experience. The bad news....

Recommended Posts

Is that we were there to have it. ;)

Persistent pain, constant at a 6, flaring to 8. Started last night. I didn't say anything or tell anyone until I woke my husband at 6:15 to tell him "I think you need to take me to the ER".

Blood tests, pelvic and rectal exam, vital checks and one dose of morphene later, I was diagnosed with a severe bladder infection.

Ouch. But it could have been way worse. I am grateful for the excellent care and loving (and worried) family.

Back to planning school now, on my bed per instructions of my DH who has done laundry (the kids were at camp last week), cooked lunch for mine and the others, made phone calls, and is now going to get Rx's filled and pick up some stuff before his own Dr's appointment this afternoon and going to work tonight.

I'm hurting; but I'm blessed!
