Moxie
I'd like to try yoga but I don't want to spend any money unless I know I'm going to like it. What is the best yoga workout for beginners on YouTube, Amazon Prime or Netflix??
Miss Peregrine
My fave is on PBS. Maybe you could find online? Power Yoga by Adrienne Reed.
Pawz4me
Someone in a previous yoga thread posted a link to Doyogawithme.com. I've found it to be a very good source of free yoga videos. They do encourage donations, and I've used the site so much I'm definitely going to give something.
Kim in Appalachia
Most of the online yoga sites have free trials, so you can see if you like it. MyYogaOnline.com is popular, but I haven't tried them. My favorite, for beginners, used to be YogaToday.com. Those women are the best teachers. They do an excellent job of explaining how to feel or be in each pose. But recently they changed the sites format and I don't know how useful the new format is. They still do have a free trial, so you could check it out. They are the best teachers I've used online. I'm currently using YogaGlo.com, which is the most expensive. It has lots to choose from, which I like. While there are some excellent beginner videos on the site, and I love using it, I still don't think they are quite as good as YogaToday. I don't know why that is. But I do like YogaGlo. They also do a free trial, so you could check it out. And while it is pricey, it is still a lot cheaper than going to a yoga studio. umsami
Yoga Journal has some good free videos. http://www.yogajournal.com/video/ Youtube also has pretty much everything. What about this? The PBS Yoga for the Rest of Us lady is good too.
mathnerd
I watch the youtube channel yogatic by Esther Ekhart: http://www.youtube.com/user/yogatic Please note that I said "watch" - because I stopped doing yoga sometime last year. Before that I found Yogatic to be a very good online resource for yoga.
