Chris in CA
and they beg to keep it  I guess that means they are forming fond memories - sigh!
Carol in Cal.
...(goes off, muttering about stuffed toys. Stuffed toy retention. Massive numbers of stuffed toys, all of whom are way too precious to give up. Ever.)
paula j
Oh yeah, I know just what you mean. I was gonna list ds 13's Beginners Bible from sonlight core 1+2 and he went ballistic on me.
Jen500
That's hilarious. As a first-year homeschooler, you have just given me a huge dose of encouragement.
StacyinKS
This happened to me too. I was wanting to sell some things I THOUGHT we would no longer use to make room/make $ for some new things and they want to keep it. :)
Chris in CA
Oh, yes we have an entire closet of those, but I think I'll cry the day they want me to pack them : )

SnowWhite
Never mind selling, my ds has thrice CRIED over me lending out books. Books that sit on the shelf otherwise.
runningirl71
This is funny! Ds 13 begged me not to sell/give/lend out his science text from last year. He wanted on hand to peruse at his convenience! :)
hsmamainva
My children do this! I'll pull out a curriculum to use for my youngest, and they're all crowded around, saying, "I remember doing this!!!," with nostalgic looks on their faces!! :) I was reading "Charlotte's Web" to my youngest yesterday, as a matter of fact, and before I know it, the older three are all gathered around me, listening in (even my 17 year old!!)
