marylandhsmom
I know CLE materials are relatively inexpensive! Just wondering, though, if they ever go on sale or if they are sold cheaper elsewhere. Looking for CLE LA grade 1 and math. Thanks!
Punks in Ontario
I've never seen it cheaper. I almost always buy it directly from CLP. I've bought some bits from Rainbow Resource just so I don't have to pay shipping.
Mommy to monkeys
Never seen a sale. I have always bought from CLE directly too. You can get the Readers and those lightunits at rainbow resource, but I've pretty much always had a large enough order that the 4 bucks for shipping doesn't phase me. Mommy22alyns
Same for me; I always order direct and have never seen a sale.
GreenKitty
I've never seen it on sale. You might check eBay or the CLE yahoo group.
Berta
The only way to get it cheaper is to go to one of the homeschool conventions. They won't charge you for shipping that way. I almost always wind up buying it new but I do look for it used first. I have LA grade 1 Sunrise 2nd edition. Teachers Guide and Light Units 6-10. LU 6 has the first 5 lessons completed in pencil and my daughters name on the cover. $18 ppd.
Joyofsixreboot
I usually order direct but have found some through the yahoo group.
marylandhsmom
Thank you, everyone! Does anyone have the link to the CLE yahoo group? Berta, definitely interested! But let me get back to you after I fully commit to CLE LA! Thanks!! :)
Mom0012
You could call them and see if they have any "seconds". I think that's what they're called. I've never seen them have a sale, but I'm pretty sure I've seen them sell slightly damaged copies for a discount. (I could be wrong.) I've never bought their stuff anywhere but directly from them. I agree that the best you can do with their regular products is get free shipping by buying at a convention.
GreenKitty
A few months ago I emailed CLE asking if I could send them like new items and teacher guides. I said they could be given to those who are in need of curic but couldn't afford it. They emailed back saying no.
