8filltheheart
We took the kids to the zoo this morning and thought it was amazing when they experienced a Bengal Tiger up close and personal when it charged the fence and leaped up roaring at us. (OK.....I was actually a little freaked out by the experience, but the kids thought it was neat.) But, then we went down to the beach and watched not just 1, but 3 waterspouts form, run, and dissipate out over the water. Then as the storm approached and we were getting ready to leave (I was getting very nervous about the clouds overhead by this point b/c they were low and very scary), the very hot breeze suddenly became very, very cold. Our 11 yod budding meterologist stopped, put out her arms, and said, "Can you feel it? That is the down draft." She had recently written a report of the formation of tornadoes. A little too much up close real life experience! Our dil took pictures. If I can figure out how to load them, I will try to later tonight. 8filltheheart
Well, I have some pretty awesome pictures, but I can never figure out how to make them small enough in kb to upload. :( Wish I could, bc they are really neat.
RootAnn
8 - I downloaded FreeSizer & you can downsize pix using it to all sorts of small sizes. Neat that you had so many IRL learning experiences today!

I tried downloading FreeSizer and it wouldn't load properly. I have tried resizing every way I know how and the smallest I can get 27 kb.
