SFM
If you have ever ordered and used free shipping did it still arrive in a timely fashion? Worried about ordering and getting it in the mail in time for Christmas. Anybody have experience with this?
CindyH in NC
I think you would receive it in the same time frame as if you were paying for shipping. Enjoy your shopping :), Cindy
cjzimmer1
I ordered last Thursday or friday and it arrived on Wednesday. I would guess there is only a delay if something is out of stock.
SFM
Thanks for the help. I know sometimes company's like Rainbow Resource have delayed shipping when you get the free shipping (it bumps it down to media mail or something), so I just wanted to verify. Also, I live overseas so sometimes shipping is an issue in general. I should have mentioned that. Thanks again, my girls are going to be very surprised. Ali in OR
Thank you so much for posting this! I've been waiting and watching my e-mail for a free shipping offer--I know I've used them before this time of year. I guess I'm not such a preferred customer anymore as I haven't seen an offer. But thanks to this thread I googled and found the free shipping offer (I think for orders over $100--no problem with both girls wanting dolls for Christmas--Caroline and Marie-Grace). This saved me $22. Thanks, thanks, thanks! If anyone else is interested, the code I used was PF29096.

SFM
I ordered Caroline for my Caroline (it was perfect timing) and my Caroline happens to have blond curly hair! :) Then we got some Bitty twins! They look so cute, I couldn't help myself. This is our first American Girl purchase and we are really excited.
Jennifer in MI
I just placed an order today for my dd for Christmas before I saw this free shipping order!!! Darn it! We got her a bunch of stuff for McKenna. She got her for her birthday this year. Her next doll will be an historical doll. I don't like feeling like I have to buy it before it goes away!!!! She's so lovely. . .and that era of clothing is my fave.:001_smile: My dd has a Josephina and a Marie Grace. . . I'm considering the Bitty twins for my younger dd next year. They'll love them! My dd (8) was totally uninterested in playing dolls until she got some really nice ones. . .now they're one of her very favorite things.:D

danybug
I placed my order last night. I got my dd Caroline and a whole bunch of her adorable outfits. I considered getting two dolls and not spending all I did on clothes since we already have a lot, but alas Caroline's outfits were too cute. My dh and I were talking about a good cap for each child's Christmas presents and I brought up how American Girl throws the budget much higher for my dd. And he said she already has 5 historical girls. He just doesn't understand ;)
sarahbobeara
If anyone else is interested, the code I used was PF29096. I could NOT get this code to work for me! Arg! I found a code that did work for me (free shipping): PF29304 in case anyone else was not having any luck.
