What readers do you use with OPGTR?

I am going to use OPGTR with my youngest for reading instruction. What readers (if any) should I consider using as he starts to learn to read?

I taught my older children to read just by reading to them all the time, teaching them letter sounds, playing rhyming games, etc. They both learned to read very naturally and quickly. They were reading before they attended public school. We just read lots of books from the library when they were little. They did use leveled readers in public school, but we just read whever we wanted at home. This is my first experience with a child who will not attend public school at all at this stage. Are the "readers" necessary? Should I be collecting the BOB books or something similar or is our collection of Dr. Seuss and assorted books enough? Thanks!

I don't remember the exact name of the readers, something like Happy Phonics or something like that. Any way, she recommends those readers (the author, Susan's mom). The cool thing is that they are out of print, but you can download them for free now. You would just have to print them out, put them together and let your kiddos color them.

Does anyone have a link for these? I tried to Google it, but didn't find what I was looking for. We have been using Bob Books, I would love to add these in.
